The third time is a charm!

On our first attempt, the speedster motor dropped a cylinder a month before the race so we had to cancel. Our second attempt in 2022 we drove 12 hours to Wildwood. Drove the speedster onto the beach and into the pits. We went up onto the boardwalk and had breakfast. Returning to the pits, we were informed that the race was cancelled due to the change in hurricane Ian’s path. We drove the speedster back off the beach, onto the trailer, took a nap and checked out and headed for home. Rained from New Jersey until Michigan.

This time, we drove 12 hours to Wildwood on Thursday. The weather was beautiful! We raced 4 times on Saturday and entered the bracket races on Sunday. Saturday we were 3 for 4 loosing to a V8 with our 4 cylinder (no big surprise). We raced 4 times on Sunday making the semi finals for 4 cylinder cars. We lost to Jerry with his 4 cylinder with a Riley OHV. He lost to Joe with his Cragar OHV who won the class. Congratulations to them!
